seems she forgot all about the library like she told her old man now

Last last Tuesday I spent all day at home! I ran a couple of errands - like at some point I drove to Rowland Heights to the Michael's - but that was about it. Oh, and I did laundry. Mostly I just sat on the Internet and watched TV and played Tactics. In the evening after work my parents came home and we went to pick up dinner, then went to see It's Complicated together. The theatre was totally empty; there were maybe 8 people total, and one of them was a really obnoxious man that decided to have a phone conversation in very loud Spanish. In the middle of the movie.

Which I really liked.

Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin were fantastic. Steve Martin was also pretty good - funny without being really stupid, which is kind of standard Steve Martin stuff. John Krasinski was adorable ♥ I thought there was a nice balance of different elements - comedy, family, romance/love, sex, and, as my brother calls it, "old peoples' stuff." It didn't try really hard to be about one thing, but let all the things sort of work together. It means you don't get perfect closure on anything, but that's not really how it's supposed to be anyway, in my opinion. I also love the ending. It was nice but not picture perfect via magic.

Also the smoking pot in the bathroom scene was awesome.

I think my dad fell asleep during it. Oh well.

Yesterday I ran around for most of the day trying to get things done and resolve the damn Japanese audio file problem. They've alerted me that they've alerted the help desk to fix it. a;lkdjfa;kdf JUST FIX IT DAMMIT SOMEONE. Hopefully Jen or someone in my class will get back to me with the files in question :< Otherwise I will be peeved.

I also went to the bead show and spent a ridiculous amount of money, which I will now need to recoup somehow. So if you all could help by buying things from me, that'd be awesome ♥

And... um... that's it, pretty much. I feel very accomplished after yesterday, hahaha. I did a lot of things... Like spending more money on Christmas presents, ordering a textbook I don't need, doing my dishes, printing things... Yup, my ever-so productive life.

There's TV tonight! Yay! I need to watch last week's How I Met Your Mother still :/ But we get to find out what happened in Chuck OMG MONDAYS SO AWESOME AND YET SO AWFUL AT THE SAME TIME.

homework can go diaf, japanese, video games, grad school, jewelry, shopping, movies, school, real life, television
