I admit that it's taken me awhile to figure out what I did on Saturday... and I'm still not entirely sure I know. I do know that for some reason we were at the studio in the early afternoon (I said good-bye to my fish) and then we went back home. Seriously do not know what happened there. Anyway, the important part is that we went to my aunt's house and -
I REMEMBER NOW.
We went to Tiffany's. Because my necklace did the weird thing again (i.e. tarnished oddly). They cleaned it for me and gave me a cleaning cloth, and I guess as long as I don't destroy the necklace or alter it in any way I can always take it back for store credit. Not that it makes much of a difference, since my necklace was cheap (for Tiffany's) and they don't coat any of their sterling silver. Damn my skin and my weird body chemistry ):
- then we hung out for a little bit while I browsed Tiffany's website looking at gold/rose gold/platinum jewelry and established that I could not actually afford anything ever. Well, if I forked out another $150 I could get a key charm but no chain. When Sarah got there we gave up and started looking at engagement rings for the hell of it. Not that I will ever need one, but I've determined that I don't want a diamond and I like the rounded cuts.
We ordered Hawaiian BBQ takeout and had dinner together~ For awhile we watched the UCLA game, and once they lost we switched to the Dallas-Philadelphia football game. Once that was basically over we watched Up! Apparently Kevin, my grandmother and I were the only ones who'd actually seen it in theatres, so it was fun for everyone else. I've apparently died inside since then, though, because I didn't cry :/
Cousins and everyone went home, and I'm pretty sure I went home and played Tactics. Maybe I was on the Internet for a bit, can't really remember.
Yesterday I had my first day of class :< I still do not like Japanese, and I like it even less now that it's been almost three years since I last took a college-level class. Blargh. After class I did not work on my essay; inside I fooled around on the Internet and did fun things like that. In the evening I took kitten back to Jordan and went to Best Buy, Michael's, Kroger, and Target. My refrigerator, you see, had only water, butter, and wine in it.
Also because I bought breakfast bars the other night when I bought the cat litter, but I wasn't paying attention and it had peanut flour in it :<
Once I got back I had to call Linksys to get our router troubleshot (because they were totally unhelpful and wouldn't just tell me what the problem was so that I could do it myself), so I didn't end up eating until around 9. After dinner I worked on my essay, then gave up and watched The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.
Oh gods, I have class in an hour and a half. *cries*
