And I am alive again! Flew back to NC yesterday - the line to get through security at LAX was insane, stretching from Terminal 1 halfway down through Terminal 2. Not bad, just hilariously long. The flight wasn't bad at all. I slept through most of it, skipping the drinks and snacks. I was pretty tired since I only slept about 4 hours overnight. The flight from Nashville was nice and short, only about an hour, and then Jordan picked me up with fluffy kitten!
Fluffy kitten's name is Sora (or Sora-chan, as I keep calling her). She answers to absolutely nothing, though.
alanna: Why are we naming her after the sky?
Jordan: Well, it sounds "Aurora." I like the name Aurora, because I like the princess in Sleeping Beauty, but it's kind of a mouthful.
Paul: Please tell me it's not named after Kingdom Hearts.
So then Jordan, Sora-chan and I all went back to my apartment and then to Panera. Jordan came over to eat dinner and watch TV while Sora-chan re-explored my apartment and I tried to sort things out with Anna and Tyler. Jordan finds Big Bang Theory hilarious and painful. Also we discovered that kitten can stand on her two back feet!
Sora-chan spent the night with me :3 I had to go out at about 11:30 to get litter and cat food, hahaha. I unpacked a little and tried to catch up with the Internet and such.
This morning Sora-chan found her way into my shower. Right before I turned it on.
I have class tomorrow. This kind of sucks. I've given up any hope of preparing. I have studied absolutely no Japanese for 2 and a half years and I have class tomorrow morning. Hahaha. I actually find this kind of funny. I probably shouldn't.
I should probably buy my textbooks.
