Fun Tiems!
Wednesday I got kicked out of my apartment, as you know, so I went to class, then had lunch on East Campus with Jen. I had a turkey sandwich and strawberries and whipped cream and an iced chai. Professor Allison also asked me in class to talk about a time that I'd bought something that didn't quite live up to the image of it... and I didn't know how to answer. I knew the right answer was related to disappointment, but I was having problems coming up with a concrete example, lol.
Took the bus to West Campus and went to Bryan Center to get my flu shot! They'd gotten some H1N1 vaccines the night before, so I figured I might as well get that too. It didn't cost anything extra outside of student fees anyway! After I got my vaccines I talked to Michele for a bit, then went back to the apartment.
I promptly turned around, pretended I hadn't seen the place, and went to Target. Picked up a couple camisoles and a dress, then went to Jordan's apartment to hang out with her and her cat, James Joyce. I spent several hours there. James Joyce is a darling cat and I love him to pieces and will be going back to visit.
Finally I could go back to my apartment, so I invited Jordan over for dinner amidst the chaos and paint dust and everything. It was quite nice to have someone over! We watched Food Network, lol.
Thursday I woke up, cleaned, went to class, etc. I was feeling really woozy and tired, so I actually slept in the afternoon after class. I think I sounded delirious or hysterical when Professor Rojas asked questions that I answered. I made a quick run to the market to pick up some stuff for dinner; Bonnie was coming over to make black bean burgers.
We had dinner, which was delicious, and then watched Community, the rest of Bones, and then the wedding episode of The Office. That last scene? Best Idea Ever. You all can count on it (or something similar) at my probably-not-happening-but-really-hope-it-does wedding.
Today I slept in late, killed a cockroach, and spent the day cleaning and reading. Made hamburgers for dinner, watched TV, and was going to spend the evening reading and then watching Psych, but ended up hanging out with Anna and Tyler downstairs watching baseball for 3.5 hours :D We watched the Twins lose and the Angels win. Also Tyler got drunk.
And now, I am very behind in tags. I was so nicely caught up too... ): And watching the replay of Psych :D Then bed.
