"So we're spending more time in the car than at the concert."
Yesterday morning I woke up, got ready, and went to work! *fighting stance* That didn't last very long, though, as I only got the layout for a set of senior pages done before I worked on my application (I finished the letter part, yay!). Then it was basically lunch time; John and I were going to meet in Walker to make cup noodles, but then he called and said that we should go to lunch with Em and Rody.
Rody drove us to Subway, where we sat in glorious air conditioning eating delicious sandwiches and chatting about the trainwreck that was the Class Day speaker and then Commencement. We stopped by the museum to help Rody pick up his senior projects, but they were closed for lunch ): So instead Em gave me back my Stitch and we walked back up to Clark I.
I spent the rest of the afternoon working on figuring out the Faculty and Administration section, then got a call from Katie's friend (and DML's son) Sam asking if I wanted a ride to the Glee Club concert. So I stopped working at a certain point, ate the other half of my sandwich while watching anime, then got ready for the concert so I looked nice and shiny.
Sam came and picked me up, and we drove to Santa Monica then drove around looking for parking. We ended up parking in a parking structure, but were late for the concert and so waited the first half. It was a nice concert :D Afterwards was a reception, where I met Pat and Kim and Guillaume, talked to Matt (Welch) about moving to North Carolina, and said hi to Nick. There were chocolate covered strawberries! :D
We drove back to Claremont, where I completely gave up on any semblance of work and ended up passing out.
