First Day of Nothing
Yesterday morning I woke up and got ready, then went to breakfast at Frary. Mmmm breakfast. Jamie came and joined me at some point, so we chatted and then went on our separate ways. I had to go to ASPC to try and get reimbursed for that car rental about 2 months ago, hahaha. Turns out that there's no one authorized to access the Quizbowl budget! So I need to take care of that now.
Then I went back to my room to clean/pack for an hour while watching Coupling. I had lunch at my desk, then went to the AARC to photocopy something, the mailroom to mail something, and the ATM to make a deposit. I found a check for $250 while cleaning, which was totally awesome.
Leo was supposed to come over, but he was too hungover from Sunday. Hahaha. So we rescheduled for Wednesday, which at least saved me the need to have the room clean - it was kind of a disaster at the time.
After that I somehow ended up falling asleep for like, 4 hours or so. Really. I'd started researching restaurants for us to have post-Commencement lunch at, got the worst headache ever, and ended up sleeping it off. When I woke up I called a couple places and made some reservations. Yay. We are going to eat!
Dashed off to dinner and ate in the dining hall by myself. It's very... different. Quiet, sort of. After dinner I cleaned and watched Coupling for an hour before going to the gym. I'd wanted to go to a movie, but it was way too late thanks to my all-afternoon consuming nap. So instead I came back, showered, chatted with Jessica and Viv, watched TV, and then went to sleep.
