So yesterday I had class. And it was good. We watched David Attenborough for a good chunk of class. OMG CARNIVOROUS PLANTS.
Then I went up to the greenhouse to take care of my plants, then back to my room to work. I then had to go to ITS to do something, where I ran into Bonnie, who will also be in North Carolina next year! We exchanged info and chatted for a bit about moving and stuff, then I randomly went over to the AARC.
Ashwin was there talking to Sefa and Karin about Vijay Prashad's visit, and then Charlotte came in because she needed help picking up the packout meals for the Manzanar trip. I offered to come back and help, and went back to my room to do 20 minutes of work or so.
Sefa and Charlotte and I went down to Frank around 1, but discovered that they could pick up the lunches this morning. So we dropped Charlotte off at Mason and me at the Admissions Office. I had to loan Steven my ID card because he didn't have his, then went back to the AARC to talk to Karin about grad school and stuff because the tour group was so small.
Then I really needed to buckle down and do work, so I did work/took care of tasks until about 4, when I decided my room REALLY needed to get clean. So I spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning my room. Yeah. It took me that long. Laundry + vacuuming + defrosting the freezer + putting everything away. It was draining. But now you can see the floor! And I can put my computer on my desk again!
Leo got here around 6, and we sat around in my room chatting for a while because I wasn't dressed and Katie needed me to do her makeup for the choir concert. Once that was all done, we drove around in circles for a bit then ended up at the Peruvian restaurant on Foothill, which is owned by one of Leo's family friends :D And there was delicious fish. nomnomnom
He dragged me to Stater Bros. to buy alcohol... because apparently my taste in alcohol is shitty. I would like to point out that it is just weak. All I have right now in my closet is vodka, amaretto, peach schnapps, and Kahlua. I am also extremely lazy, so I only really make drinks that can be done easily (like amaretto and root beer. COME ON IT'S EASY AND WEAK). Anyway. He got some Midori and sweet and sour mix. :3
And then we went back to my room to chat and... well, drink. :D Yummy~~~ We hung out with Katie and her friends for some time, watched an episode of Project Runway (IT HAD DOGS IN IT OKAY), and eventually ended up watching Love Actually in the middle of the night. And by middle of the night I mean that we started at like, 2.
