An actual message I got last night:
weisskatzchen86: HAHAHAHAAH PINEAPPLES
weisskatzchen86: pineapples is HAPPY~!
So far today I've got coffee and a cancelled class. Oh joy.
Yesterday, I managed to make it to theory, after waking up at 8:30 in Katie's bed, because apparently I passed out while we were waiting for The Daily Show to load while all the lights were on. I managed to get out a quick paper on Dumm's chapter on King Lear, then I took a blessed shower - the first one I'd had since Monday morning, I think. Was late to class, but hey. I made it, which was better than about half my classmates at some point.
After class there was the AARC staff meeting, then I went to Oldenborg for the PBI video lunch. The three mini-documentaries were good. John is reading this, so I can't say anything bad about his :P John's was about youth baseball in Taiwan, David's was "about" education in rural China, and Nao's was about a rural Andean village and tourism. I thought John and Nao's were good, David's less so. But I'm going to shut up now.
Then it was ecology, but Professor Karnovsky wasn't there ): Surgery of some kinds ): So we filled out evaluations and watched a class slideshow. Gods, I take unattractive pictures.
OH MY GODS, THE SEMESTER IS ALMOST OVER.
Since we got out early, I stopped by James and John to say hi, then Em to chat for a bit. Then it was back to my room to watch a lot of 30 Rock, clean my room, and start dealing with my sickly fish. ): I called up Freya because I finally had time to talk to her, so we went to dinner at CMC. I also told my parents that my brother and I bought them tickets to the Hiroshima concert tomorrow night :D
I got to see the new CMC dorm and Freya's room, then I hopped back to my room to do more cleaning, more fish tending, and more 30 Rock. After Katie got done with choir practice I borrowed her keys and went to Petco to buy some aquarium salt and different food. I'm not sure if my fish has a parasite (velvet) or just swim bladder disorder, so I got something to address both. I hope he gets better, or I'll have to look into other things (oh gods, what if it's fin rot?!) and medications. I don't want fishy to die ;___;
And then after Petco it was 30 Rock/cleaning/cell bio reading/fish tending/popcorn, and then Friends, at which point I fell asleep on Katie's bed again.
If anyone knows anything about betta fish, please please please let me know. I'm having a horrible time diagnosing my fish's problem, and I want to be able to so I can take care of him properly.
