Mmmm fishies
Monday morning was no better than Sunday morning. I was just as exhausted and sore as before. Like, couldn't open my eyes exhausted. Ate leftover dinner for breakfast, then packed up the car.
We stopped by Vons on the way out, then drove to Rock Creek Lake. I'm pretty sure I entered a REM cycle or something on our way there. I was dreaming, which is weird for me. About... Batman? o_O Maybe I was thinking about my conversation with Viv about how hot Christian Bale is.
ANYWAY. :D :D :D
We fished. Yay! It was a pretty slow morning though ): Kyle caught a 2.8 lbs fish last week, and I think it was the last fish of any size in that lake. There were very, very few people fishing on the shore, and there was only one other boat. There were a bunch of people fishing the beach near the dock, though, which is where Kyle caught his fish ^^;;
Ate lunch in the car~ Then went back out on the lake. The afternoon was much more productive. I lost a bunch of hooks D: But my dad was like, "You tied them, you can lose them." So I did. :D
Rushed down to Schat's to get bread. Mmmm bread. Kevin was looking for postcards for his family, so we got a couple of those on the way out (along with gas). Kevin had a headache, and I was just tired, but we both stayed awake for the first part of the drive. There were still elk in the fields near Independence! So we pulled over and took pictures :3
We also pulled over briefly at Manzanar so Kevin could take some pictures.
We decided to eat in Lone Pine instead of waiting until Mojave, so we stopped at Carl's Jr. in Lone Pine for dinner. Kevin and I made it to Pearsonville on soda, then I fell asleep until... well... basically until we got back to the studio :D I think Kevin was awake most of the way, playing DS.
Fed the fish and waved at it and tried to coax it not to die overnight (it seriously did not look good). Also freaked out over its fins a bit - I swear his tail has gotten smaller since I got him.
Got home, unloaded the car, all that good stuff. Took a bath, chatted with Charles and Emily and Alysha a bit, then went to bed. It took me a little while to fall asleep. Things to think about kept bothering me.
Today has been a very productive day. I am hot and sweaty and gross :D
