Um. So.

I feel like a week of my life disappeared.

Tuesday I went to the mall, and then we went to Auntie Karen and Uncle Eric and Erika's for Christmas leftovers. It wasn't as awkward as Monday, because this time we sat in the living room and watched the Clippers game (sad. Sad sad sad), and I tried to learn about hockey.

Wednesday was when Charlez and I went out to lunch and shopping, and I got all my lovely RPGs. I'm like, halfway through Lunar Legned! It's all starting to come back to me... Kevin did finish the game before it was lost, and I'm beginning to vaguely remember major plot points. And you know what else I remembered? I beat the final boss for Kevin. *headdesk*

Thursday night I went to Mary's house with her and Emily and we watched Devil Wears Prada and ate snacks. Ugh. I hate Anne Hathaway, though Meryl Streep was totally awesome. I wasn't too enamored with the book, either. But Mary with the XBox was rather entertaining.

Friday my mommy and I went shopping (or rather... I went shopping with my mommy). I bought 2 more bras, a bunch of stuff at Bath and Body Works, a replacement copy of Lamb, and I returned a shirt my aunt gave me for Christmas because it definitely didn't fit. I'm too short and fat. ):

Today my mom, grandma, and I went to the renovated Getty Villa, just because. Actually, Kevin was going to go for extra credit for English (gah Cordero!), but he decided he had enough (since he's getting more, and the Getty was only worth 5 points). It's very, very pretty, and I shall post pictures! All of the balconies were closed, though, which was disappointing, because you get a damn good view from them. And I didn't really take any pictures of the galleries... Just the architecture and the gardens and stuff. Though you are allowed to take non-flash pictures, because it's all antiquities, and I guess there's not as much of a problem as with the paintings and stuff that are at the Getty Center.

After that we went to my aunt's house to make mochi. @_@ So much rice~ It went pretty quickly, actually. There are a few pictures, but it's mostly of like, us eating. Or our food. And other lame things like that. But yeah. Pictures. Wheee.

And now I'm... uh... sitting on my bed trying to figure out what to do. I'm bored. We discussed this in my ID class: it's not that I don't have things to do, it's that I don't want to do them. It's like a mini-identity crisis. I don't know who I am, so I don't know what I want to do. Of course, we said it in far more words than that, but whatever.

Maybe I'll take a bath and play more Lunar Legend. Games usually make me feel better. Games and anime. But anime doesn't make me feel better when it's taking up valuable space on my harddrive and I can't get rid of it until tomorrow. Or later.

Hey. Tomorrow is New Years Eve, isn't it? YAY APPLE CIDER TOMORROW NIGHT WHOOOOO! And ozoni, sushi, sashimi, char siu, AND WONTON the day after! And more food! FOOD! SO MUCH FOOD!

And the Rose Parade. But it won't be the same without Stephanie Edwards. ): *sigh* And it's not like I plan on watching the Rose Bowl GO MICHIGAN! TAKE DOWN USC!.

But seriously. I'm going to be so sad if my brother never gets to march in the Rose Parade. I'm still bitter about the whole Disneyland thing. I mean, I had the opportunity to do some good stuff in band. Rose Parade and the Presidential Inaugural Parade? I gave up the DC trip, but I still got to do the Rose Parade. And yeah, it's a long ass parade, but it's fun.

*sigh* Oh well. Hopefully someone will be able to knock some sense into the Rose Parade people. They should get rid of the equestrian groups, not the bands.

I'm feeling this terrible wave of nostalgia. I'm thinking about AX 2005 and the San Francisco trip this year. wtf.

Oh, and for the first time in... well, my life, probably, I feel pretty. Or I am conscious of the fact. Or something.

Oh, whatever. I'm going to go take a bath and let my laptop recharge.

holidays, shopping, friends, real life
