Yea for Autumn and Other Stuff

The temperature is finally cooling down and just in time for Halloween. I love this time of year. I love all the holidays and all the fun that goes with them. There are so many things that I would like to do, but know there isn't enough time to do them all. Today we are going to attempt to go to a pumpkin patch or two. Only if the rain holds off. I wouldn't mind walking around a pumpkin patch in the rain however, Paul would not love it; so I won't torture him. So I'm hoping for the rain to wait until after gather a few good pumpkins.

Last night was a bit of a late night as we were up watching Texas A&M BTHO Ole Miss. It was a barn burner for sure but a really great game. The only down side was that after the big win, I was too keyed up to sleep. I don't need a stress test I can just watch some Aggie football!

This is the first day in 18 days that I have not had to work. Part of me would like to veg out all day and do nothing, but there is just too much to do. In addition to the pumpkin patches, I need to do some grocery shopping, laundry, and believe it or not sorting through some Christmas presents!

I have a big family, 4 siblings and then all their families, and then Paul's family. Naturally I start shopping for Christmas a bit earlier than most to ensure it all gets done and I don't go broke in the process. I am at the point now that I need to see what I actually have for and who is getting what. There is a really good chance I am about 90% done.

First get it all organized, make my list and then wait. I will start wrapping up all the gifts the weekend after Thanksgiving. Oh what fun it is...

For now I think I'll go start breakfast. Matthew had a friend spend the night and I can hear them up already. It was funny I thought those boys might be up all night but they were both sounds asleep my 9:15PM!!! Clearing boys don't do the same things that girls at a sleepover. I know when I had sleepovers we didn't sleep very much at all.

Hope y'all have a blessed and wonderful day.

christmas, football, halloween
