Life
I must say that all things considered, my life is good. Now, that I put that out there I'll be hit by a bus tonight, but....
Work
I've moved some things around in my office and it is going to get a new coat of paint and a few other upgrades in the next few weeks. I'll also be giving my computer to nurses to us and getting a new laptop for me. Gotta love that.
Home
My packing is moving along nicely. I've even taken a few things off the walls. A few years ago when I was in Asia I took some really great pictures. I had them blown up, matted and framed and are hanging in my dining room. However, my parents want to borrow them for their new house to put in their bedroom. I took them all down (4 of them) and carted them to my parents. Now I get to find new cool stuff for my new place!
Paul
He is doing well. Only a week left of physical therapy! He has decide that he is going to leave his current company and look for something else to do. Which will actually be a good thing for him. Now he just has to decide what he wants to do next.
Valentine's Day
I'm not a huge fan of this holiday, but for some reason Paul loves it. If y'all could see the cards he has gotten for me the last few years, you would cry, but only becuase you were laughing so hard. They are funny cards at all, but they don't actaully apply to us sometimes. One year he gave me a "Mohogany" card from Hallmark; which is really funny if you know what that is.
Anyway, we have made plans to go out on Saturday instead of the 14th. I'm good with that, but now I guess I have to figure out something to get him. Why can't Valentine's Day be in June? He doesn't need anything for crying out loud. It was just Christmas and his birthday. I don't need anything either.
Random
Now that my tax refund is here and a good chunck of it is safely locked away in savings, I'm going to do a little shopping tonight. I need to get a new hair dryer before my current one explodes on me.
I guess I should get back to work. I have a good stack of stuff to get through before I leave for the day. Thank God it is Wednesday!
