in every entry ive read ive seen the word emo at least once.
and its really annoying.
the whole concept of the emo label is pissing me off.
like whats it supposed to mean
definitions of emo -
1. people that cry - that's pretty much.. hm.. EVERYONE
2. bands with whiny voices - you dont see anybody saying nsync is emo
3. bands with whiny lyrics - there are like a gazillion songs written by bands that are about getting broken up with. and those bands aren't considered emo. (ex. tangerine by led zeppelin)
4. people that complain a lot - my step grandma complains a lot about just about everything, and i dont think you'd consider her emo.
5. people that cut - cutting is a serious problem. its not part of a social fucking label.
6. guys with their hair combed over their eyes - ... anybody that thinks the way your hair is combed defines who you are should burn in hell. end of story.
7. people that wish they could die - read #5
and emo isn't a synonym for the word sad.
if i hear it one more time i swear im gonna hurt somebody.
