Well looks like things at work are going to be hell on wheels come Monday. My counter part was let go b/c of days missed, which of course doesn't suprise me. So tonight at work our supervisor wanted to talk to me about how things ran on second shift. He gave me this speech that last long b/c I cut him short. I told him that I'm use to doing the job alone b/c I was doing it by myself on 3rd shift for over half a year. I don't look for help unless I TOTALLY know I need it and can't deny that I need it. 9 times out of 10 I don't need help and I only ask for help twice a week. Other then that I'm use to flying solo b/c no one gets in my way when I'm working wide open. The only problem I see that I will run into w/this job on 2nd shift is our supervisor and our Mold Tech. If you've ever seen a dog trying to get a bucket unstuck from it's head then you have them in a nutshell. Our supervisor never knows what's going on and our Mold Tech knows so much that he can't pay attention to what's going on. So basically your stuck figuering it out on your own which 90% of the time I don't have a problem with. So yeah things will definatly be interesting some Monday afternoon/night when we go back to work.
Now on to a lighter note...
Homeslice and I talked for a bit when I got home. Seems Vicky is planning on coming back for the summer and he is planning on going over there next winter. Not sure how that's going to work out, but who knows. Rich, Michelle, and I hooked up around 1am to to hit the Awfule Waffle for some grub. It was a little packed in there, but we managed to find a table. We sat in Ms.Angel's section which was right next to my buddy Stephens section. We chated for a bit with Stephen as we waited for Angel to finesh with another table. Seems Stephen has been up to a good bit of nothing since I saw him last it happens.
We wound up being Angels only table so she got to chat with us for a bit while she waited for out order. She was really nice, bright, and very talkative with us. I guess I took it as my sign to maybe flirt a little bit with her. Of course I started working the charm and had her laughing like crazy. I even manage to get her blushing as well. She told me I was cute which is always a good thing to hear. After eating Michelle and Rich went for a smoke while I sat to talk to her some more. I learned some interesting things about her which is always helpful. It died down a bit so her and the cook Chris we know popped outside with us for a smoke. Needless to say there was pleanty of flirting going on. She asked me to come back tomorrow morning around 2am so we could talk some more. Who knows maybe I'll get a phone number and a date. Always worth a shot. ...Later Days
