"I'm so sorry, Sasuke-kun!" Gai said, manly tears streaming down his face, "But it's for your own good, believe me!" He pulled away from the horrified Sasuke, and sniffed "Please look into my manly face and say you forgive me!"
"I-I forgive you." Sasuke muttered, looking sideways at the greasy man, who looked like he was torn between deciding to kill them or study them.
"Good!" Gai gleamed, "Now give me 100 laps around the... the... where are we anyway?" He asked.
"You are currently in my home." Snape said dryly.
"Ah, forgive us!" Gai said, and both he and Sasuke hurriedly bent and took their shoes off.
Snape watched them for a few moments, wondering if it would be wiser to simply banish them and try the spell again. But then he had summoned a demon, so they must have some abilities. Recklessly attacking them would be foolish.
"I was attempting to secure... protection." He said slowly, the language still feeling rough on his tongue. "Someone to protect me from an evil man."
"Well we can do that!" Gai sparkled. "If you just pay the fee, then we will assign you a bodyguard according to the difficulty of the task, and you will as safe as in your mother's arms!"
"I have already paid the fee." Snape said, clamping his hand over his right arm. Slicing it open in order to spill his blood into the cauldron had not been pleasant, and was not something he wanted to repeat in a hurry. "That was a part of the contract."
"Oh." Gai looked slightly confused. "Then the Hokage must have agreed to send us. No doubt as an opportunity for us to bond!" He turned and beamed at Sasuke, who was trying to subtly find an escape route. In his attempt to shift away from the two mad adults though, he brushed against a table, sending Snape's bloodied knife into the cauldron still sitting in the middle of the magic runes.
"Oh sh-" But Snape's swearing was lost in the crack of magic, as another black haired teenager appeared, his robes flapping around him.
"Gai-sensei..." He said as Snape noticed that his eyes were a freakish pure white. "What happened to you?"
