The internet has made us even lazier.

So after glancing at my LiveJournal entries over the past 6 months (which all fit on the first page, btw) I wondered what happened to my LJ. This was my blog, and at some point in the past I actually filled it with thought and content. Sure, it had it's doses of useless entries and junk, but, for the most part, it used to be full of content.
Now I have a Facebook...And a Twitter. And apparently so does everyone else (my father and grandmother both have them). We went from blogging to tweeting; lengths of text, to 140 characters or less. Our social networking skills have gotten even lazier, and I have no idea how I feel about that.
I often feel the pull to write here, but to be truthful, I have no idea what to write. And it is not a case of me not knowing what to write for my audience. It is a case of not knowing what to write for ME. Life, while not completely hum drum and boring, is still nothing to write about. And I am left to wonder, is 140 characters actually completely sufficient to summarize my day?

life (not the magazine), introspection
