The Luxury of the Mundane
This past weekend was spent mostly shopping, with a cookout tossed in at one point. It was... dull.
Gloriously, wonderfully dull.
What did I shop for? Nothing exciting. Some supplies for the cats. New insoles for my boots. An old-iPhone-to-new-iPhone plug adapter. A keyboard. A grilling basket.
It was sunny. We rode around with the windows open.
Nothing interesting at all happened.
I loved it.
I would not complain if life was that dull all the time for a while.

PS: Oh, I did do a little creative stuff, nothing finished to show for it. And I started working on a story for an upcoming anthology.
