I gave Buffy one last hug before walking off in the direction in which was home. I guess she was fine..she kept saying she was and well she wouldn't lie..sure she has a couple times but I don't think she would like about her well being. Maybe it was just her way of dealing with mom's death. Guess she had been out patrolling since everything

Buffy turned around and gave me another apologetic look and I gathered this was all a very long story and she'd tell me later. I nodded and looked back to Glory. As I did, I watched her glance over at me and look me over. Raising a brow, I crossed my arms and listen to her threaten me and Buffy's friends. My jaw tightened as I listened and Buffy stepped in front of me.
Alright, I wanted to let Buffy handle this because she clearly knew the situation better than I did, and not to mention this being her town and fight. But do I just stand here and listen to whoever this was threaten not only me but Buffy and her friends and family? For now, I just listened to both of them talk.
Frowning, I looked around the graveyard as they were talking and I thought I heard someone walking around. Before long, I saw a smaller figure start to approach the grave and us.
"Buffy!..how...how did you beat me here?"
Dawn?
She walked closer to us and I just watched her. This probably wasn't the best time for her just to show up.
"And when did you have time to change your clothes?"
Change her clothes? I wasn't exactly sure how that was possible since I'd been here with her most of the night.
My eyes darted from Dawn to Buffy and Glory. This wasn't going to go well.

Like a said, a friggin idiot.
I didn't really know what to say, and I know I was just staring for a long while, continuing to stare at her kid sis decided to join us. Hey...the kid.
I looked to the 'kid' and shook my head. "Hold on a sec sug, the grownups are talking..."
I turned back to Buffy. "I want you to remember something, I want you to remember this opportunity when you are forced to watch your loved ones suffer one by one, knowing that you could've prevented it all...or atleast delayed it a bit."
I looked back to the little sister and a thought popped in my head. "I...think I'll start with this one." I smiled slowly, sizing the girl up.

My eyes were quick to look at her then Glory then back at her. If there was one thing I hated more than anything was surprise bad timing. If anything it made me worry that much more, at any given moment Glory could snap. Dawn knows this, I knows this the only person who didn't at the moment was Angel. I crossed my arms as I sent a look over at Dawn hoping out of all times she'd read this one.
Glory was at full force tonight, I expected her to attack. I didn't know why on earth my sister was here or that fact she was asking the weirdest question. I hadn't changed since this morning but I didn't really have time to get in that conversation with her. It was confusing yes but the more important factor was the way Glory looked at Dawn. I knew what her motive was and she was too close to Dawn for me to grab her without any harm.
I watched Glory turn around and shake her head and shush my sister. I knew none of this could be trusted and the look she was giving me was even less convincing. I took a few steps toward Dawn, slowly as to not look so obvious but quickly stopped as Glory got an odd smile.
"I want you to remember something, I want you to remember this opportunity when you are forced to watch your loved ones suffer one by one, knowing that you could've prevented it all...or at least delayed it a bit. I...think I'll start with this one."
I watched as she grabbed a hold of her neck and pulled her up. It didn't take me longer than point four seconds to quickly react. I ran to them quickly with my eyes narrowed at Glory. I was beyond angry, scared, and worried. As I reached about four feet from her I jumped throwing my foot at her face. It didn't do half the damage as I expected it but it did release Dawn. I quickly looked over at Angel,
"Angel get her out of here now!"
I shouted as I flipped myself back up. I watched as Glory charged her way back to me and Dawn. I knew there was no way of hurting her as bad as I wanted but stopping her from getting to my sister was my main goal. As she threw her hand up at me I quickly swirled around kicking her again in the chest. It only sent her a few feet back but as I put my arms up again I tilted my head.
"You want information about your key, then I dare you to try and get it out of me?"
I charged at her throwing all of my weight at her and threw her against the ground. As She started to get up I kicked her right in the mouth. Maybe this would stop her from trying to pull off those cheap puns or possibly even slow it down a bit.

That sounded like something Buffy would have said..only Buffy wouldn't have made it sound as creepy as Glory had. I noticed a look from Buffy and it just screamed one of two things. Either 1) run as fast as you can and don't turn back for nothing or 2) get your ass over here behind Angel and I. Both where very good options. So I started to ease my way over to them.
"I...think I'll start with this one."
I knew she had said more to that but that was the only thing that I actually heard before I had hands around my neck and I was being lifted up of the ground. I kicked my feet trying to get down and I had brought my hands up to meet Glory's trying to pry them off gasping for air. Boy was she strong.
I don't think in all my years I had ever looked this scared in my entire life. If you could have just seen my face. I didn't take my eyes of my sister for a second. I know my look was just screaming Buffy do something please!.
And that's just what she did. I don't think I was up there long but her tight was just so strong I couldn't get in any breaths. I don't entirely remember what Buffy did, I just know there was kicking and me falling to the ground. Even though I was trying to grasp for air I had managed to crawl across the ground and just drop in front of Angel's feet. I hadn't passed out or anything just trying to do that whole breathing thing again.

My fists tightened at my sides and I did my best not to jump her right then. Buffy seemed to want to handle this herself though. And as someone who likes to fight alone in most cases, I understood that and kept still - for now.
It was then that I saw Glory next to Dawn and start to grab her by the throat. It happened so fast, that I wasn't sure what to do next. It was like Dawn was weightless when she picked her up. Alright, I'm the last person to take appearances literal, but for the most part, other than slayers you don't normally see girls dressed to go out for the night able to lift grown people off the ground by their throats. There was plenty more to this situation that I thought.
As I just stood there, I saw Buffy go past me and head for Glory and Dawn. She kicked her in the face and I expected Glory to fall flat on her back with that sort of blow. It seemed the only thing it caused was for her to stumble back a little. Though it did make her release Dawn in the process.
Dawn fell and made her way over to me. Bending down, I looked at her and tried to see if she was alright. She didn't seem too hurt, just out of breath. Helping her up, I looked again to Buffy who was now back up and ready to go at Glory again.
"Angel get her out of here now!"
And leave her here with that thing? I hesitated a minute and looked at Buffy. If I left with Dawn Buffy might end up dead.
"Buffy.." I shook my head a little. She looked at me again and yelled at me to get out of here again. I wanted to protest, and I still didn't move right away, but I caught the look in her eye as she turned back to Glory. This wasn't just the average apocalyptic demon that we faced regularly. This was something much worse. Still hesitating, I finally turned and started to help Dawn away from the scene.

I yelled once more as I watched them both quickly get up and run off. It was a relief to know I wouldn't have to worry about them both that Glory couldn't get her hands on them unless she went through. There was of course the going through me part that did send a chill down my spine but She has done something no other demon has done before..Royally ticked me off. I quickly turned around just in time to see Glory get herself together. She looked as Angry as me but there's really not another look I have seen her wear before.
I watched as looked her dress over until she found a spot that was ripped. Well it was good to know I did some damage even if it was just too her dress. I walked her up to her slowly expected to hear some more banter about 'give me the key slayer' but at this point I was over it. I quickly stopped as her eyes narrowed at me and her face had gone from angry to pissed in point thirty seconds.
"This was Gucci.."
She was quick, a little too quick for even me. As I brace myself for her next attack I felt her fist slam into my stomach slamming me into the ground. I grabbed my stomach quickly as she took the wind from me. I knew this was going to be harder than it looked taking down a 'Super Cordelia.' I rolled over and quickly jumped on my feet. I knew she was cocky but the way she was looking at me like I was already defeated just want me want to hurt her that much more. I put my arms up and kept them close to me. There was obviously going to be punches thrown but blocking them was first in order. I tilted my head as I stared her down.
"That all you got? Cause I could go on for a couple more hours if you're gonna hit like a girl."
Taunting her was probably not the best idea, but as she charged forward I threw myself back on the ground as I kicked the back of her knees. She seemed to be stronger on her feet and I had to say I was more leg strong. As she fell down I kicked her right in the head causing nothing but her to flinch. I needed to know her Achilles Heal but she was walking in stilettos. As she started to get up I quickly punched her once more but that didn't even phase her. My eyes quickly widen as her hand found it's way to my neck.
"Nice Try, now let me show you how it's done"
I put both my hands on hers trying to force them off of me. I could see in the corner of her eye her arm swing back as she pulled us both up. I jerked myself back in forth trying to find some balance to edge my way out of her grip but not even that was working. As her fist came forward I shoved my arm up to block just in time. She grunted for a moment then a smile came across her face. She reached for my arm then slammed it has hard as she could toward the ground almost trying to pull from off my body.
I screamed lightly as the pain slowly settled in. My options were beginning to be limited. I had only one arm and a leg that was worth anything and all I could do was kick at her legs with all of my strength. If only she were guy this would be much easier. Her had came at me this time faster than before and before I knew it I felt a sharp pain in my jaw. I dazed me a little but as her fist kept flying at me faster by the minute I started to feel weaker by the minute. She drew back for a moment while keeping her hand on my neck but keeping me on my toes.
"Now are you ready to talk or am I going to have to keep this up?"
I felt blood fill my mouth and she had made me more than angry. I kept my eyes narrowed at her as her smug little laugh taunting me in my ear. She had no idea who she was dealing with and far as I was concerned her grip was eventually going to loosen one way or another. I jerked from her before spitting the blood in my mouth square into her face.
"I haven't even begun.."
I threw my arm up slamming my fist in her face repeatedly. Her grip was tight and the more I punched her the looser her hand got from my neck. I bent my knees as I kicked my foot into her knee then kept punching her face. If it was blood she was looking for it was better hers than mine.

I had a sly response on my tongue, but she kept punching me in the face. Do you know how hard it is to be all high and mightily sarcastic, when your victim keeps interrupting your killer one liners by blows to the face? Make that a 'rude little bitch'.
I dropped her like a broken heel and let my fingers tangle in her hair, winding the 'no is that not bottle' blonde hair around my hand. "You know, I had kinda noticed that...so, whe *are* you gonna begin, because you're getting blood on your pretty little face."
And with that, I slammed a punch to *her* face. Hey, if you can dish it, you can take it. I jerked the hand in her hair once, to make sure I had her attention. "You're cute, you've got spunk..." I slowly drew her back to her feet by her hair, pulling her close, to make sure she heard me. "And I'd love to continue beating the crap outta ya, but...I've got places to be, minions to beat, and a key to find."
I released her hair, earning a punch to my stomach. Catching the wrist of the hand, I tilted my head to the side and kicked the blond haired little pain in my...lovely backside, hard enough to see if she would fly a bit.
"Ta ta for now." And with that...I was gone.

I held back tears. This..every punch Buffy was taking..they were all because of me. At that point I wanted to just run and never stop. Just keep running.
"And I'd love to continue beating the crap outta ya, but...I've got places to be, minions to beat, and a key to find."
Then I watched her leave...just like that. As if she hadn't even been there. I ran over to my sister and just hugged her. Not to tight but it took almost everything to hold back the tears.
"Buffy, I am so sorry."
