I don't really think it matters where you are on the political spectrum, I think you should sign up for the e-mail updates. If you don't want to get involved with anything you hear about, you certainly don't have to, but I can't see why you wouldn't no matter WHO you are or what your background is. I've been getting these for a little while now and they're all things that across the board we're all concerned about and affect us all, directly or indirectly. People in the US need to give more.
