Wow, it has been a while since I updated! I suppose I have been a bit busy moving across the country and starting college and all.

I guess I feel like I haven't had a whole lot to say on this thing! I didn't think "Boomshakka-lakka--respect!" was an appropriate way to break the silence.
So here is the deal:
School is good. It is really stressful in more ways than one, but I am beginning to like it. Or at least to feel more comfortable.
My roommate situation is questionable, but it could be way worse
My suitemates are very cool
the football games are unbelievable
I miss my friends a lot
I miss my house a lot
I miss my puppies and my Harry a lot
My major is hellish at times
my major is wonderful most of the time
I have taken out a second residence in the studio because of my frequency of staying the night there
I like this pseudo-independence that comes with being a freshman
I love having my seaster here to show me the ropes
I hate feeling like I am infringing upon her life
I love to be there for her
I love the shopping with my seaster
I love the cookies at Cafe 84
I love the cookies at Park Side
Midnight pastry runs to Trojan Grounds are delightful
Nikki coming to visit for the Arizona game is exciting the hell out of me
I want others to follow suit
My boy situation is a non-situation for the moment and that makes me sad
All of these cookies are making me chubby
I got a new guitar that is more of a work of art even then the Babalot (Trust me, it is possible)
My air conditioner exploded water all over the floor in my room and made it smell musty
I have mediated my first drug deal
I am not quite as scared to walk down Hoover as I was when I got here
I got lost for four hours in Orange County
Driving on the freeway is not as bad as one might think
It is when you get off the freeways that is killer
In-n-out is glorious
Beer is also glorious
Vodka is NOT glorious
Adjusting to college life if freaking me out a little bit
I feel like I am restarting high school again
I am very nostalgic for the feeling of having a very close group of friends around me (physically)
Hooray for my random newfound interest in Jazz and Hip Hop
Did I mention the cookies??
I suppose that is it!
I did find stuff to write about...that wasn't so hard! Sorry for anyone who actually read that collection of random thoughts....If you did...I hope it was insightful? Anyway, i need to get some work done!
I also LOVE that i can hear the Spirit of Troy (our amazing marching band) practicing from my room! It makes me soooo happy--It amps me up for the games (like this Saturday when we school Cal!)
