The Andromeda Strain - ugh
Just finished watching A&E's remake of The Andromeda Strain. It's a 2-parter. The first part started off ok, not up to the original movie or the novel, but not hideous.
Wormholes? Time travel? Please.... Then lets throw in cardboard villains, clichéd conspiracies, and some whack-you-over the head preachiness.
I will admit I kinda liked the way they killed off the Andromeda bug. Would have been nice if they hadn't been handed the solution deux ex machina.
Some movies shouldn't be remade....
