In and out for the holidays
It's been a couple weeks since my last update. Sorry about that. My last two weeks of Fall quarter were sort of pathetic, so we may as well skip that. Now I am home, but only for a bit. It's nice to be back in crazy old Ohio again, with ice on the roads and always somewhere to be rushing off to.
I spent Wednesday and Thursday packing and moving out of my dorm room. I was involved in a hostage situation involving the R.A. from another building, their vacuum cleaner, and my student ID. I won. I also realized how silly I look pushing a vacuum cleaner down the street.
I spent entirely too much money on taxis. I'm incredibly relieved to have the Black Beauty with me from now on.
I spent entirely too much time lying awake, unable to sleep for want of my girlfriend. I'm incredibly relieved to have Cora with me from now on.
I spent Friday on a train. I had never been on a train before. It was the last train that would have me in LA in time to make my 11:10 AM Saturday flight.
I spent Friday night hanging out at LAX. It was incredibly boring.
I got an earlier flight home on Saturday, and surprised everyone.
Cora and I went to Hedwig on Saturday night. It's fun, but not as much fun as Rocky. We spent the night at David and Melody's place because there was a crazy man running around and Melody was alone.
Dad and I went skiing yesterday. It was the first time this season for both of us. Weird, I move out to mountainous California, but come back East to ski.
Today I went to work in New Albany with Mom, and then out to dinner with my parents and Grandma.
Cora just got here; she's taking me to PRK tonight.
Tomorrow I have work again, then Dad and I are going to Holiday Valley until late Friday. Saturday I've got the HP-Ohio Yule Ball in Cinci.
In short, I'm having a crazy, awesome vacation with no boringness. Hope you are too.
