Me: Yeah, I didn't get much sleep, either.
Dad: Oh? why is that?
Me: I was worrying?
Dad: About what?
Me: Being unemployed.
Dad: Hey, some people spend 2 or 3 years looking for a job.
Me: If this is your idea of being supportive, you're rubbish at it.
Dad: And plus, you don't have any experience...
Me: Stop Helping.
Dad: And maybe if we had some contacts, but we don't know anyone.
Me: ......
Dad: You know, if you had completed medical school, you could have had a job the next day.
So my dad has this thing he does sometimes, usually when he speaks. It's called being an insensitive jerk. This is one of the better conversations we've had lately.
