Five years on...
It's been five years since Hurricane Katrina, and five years since we helped lostgirlslair and mstrtwstdwhsprs (and their cats) escape New Orleans.
We raised over $7,200 via my paypal account, easily two or three more from mailed in money orders and gifts, gift cards, donations of material goods, and people flinging out of their houses to just go *get* them when their car broke down for the umpteenth time.
I've lost touch with them, but last I heard they were thriving in Austin, TX and had at least one more cat.
Just wanted to say thanks again for your kindness, creativity and generosity. Together we can move mountains.
