I'm not even kidding, I'm all choked up and my eyes are all glazed over.

“Daddy…” The young girl murmurs, launching herself suddenly into his arms. David laughs richly, arms coming around her completely and resting his head against hers. She joins in, giggling into his neck. Her soft hair tickles his cheek and her fingers tug at his hair. She actually stays in his embrace, she doesn’t move except snuggle further into him. Unintentionally though, he releases a small and strangled sob against her. She moves away from him with confused eyes when one of his tears touches her fair skin

My main goal for the chapter was to focus on April and David's relationship, because for other chapters, I hadn't done that yet.
