Watching a documentary of a family in New Zealand. I think I've found my perfect man - completely chill, with a gentle nature, and in love with nature. I find that I'm rather a fan of the absolute mane of hair he has going on. Of course, he has six kids, a beautiful wife, and is so quietly happy that it breaks my heart in all the right ways.
Watching this while knitting.
Lunch with my aunt and uncle and some friends of theirs tomorrow, which is slightly terrifying since I'm a bit touch-and-go on the comfortable with socialization front.
I was coffee lady at work last night. I was about halfway through my break when I made the rookie mistake of going back to the bar (just to drop my stuff back in my cubby hole and go to the loo and stuff before getting back on the job)... there was a woman waiting there and I asked, "Have you been helped yet, ma'am?" and she hadn't and she wanted two cappuccinos. Goodbye, break. While I was making those, someone else said, "Ah, I see the coffee lady is hard at work! *wink* Is it okay if I order some more?" I flashed my hospitality smile, "Of course! Just place your order with someone and I'll get to it as soon as I finish up these!" and then, when I carried out the first order, I got stopped in the hall and asked for a different order. Then I had another order put in for two cappuccinos and a long black with milk on the side. And then an order for three cappuccinos, all with skim milk, one half strength with two sugars, one with no sugar, one with an undecided amount of sugar (two on the side). Then I had a, "Oh! Is the coffee machine still on?" just after I got it cleaned up and an order for a flat white. Then a hot chocolate. Then a couple more coffees. Phew! When I got finished I was just praying that they were all of acceptable quality, since the only barista training I have is... well, nights like last night at the bar.
