good and bad news, you expect to see both included below.
He can't use his frequent flier miles on my next round of flights, as we're previously agreed would be fair.
BUT ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, he found a flight that costs 'only' $2700 and I can pay him back for it later.
Only $2700, I pay for all of it (who cares when), and I paid for all of my trip last time as well.
-_-
Surely he realizes that none of that is good news for me, which is why he offered the sham of a silver lining of him paying for it (for now, anyway).
I'm giving myself a couple of days to think, in which time I'll look at flights and things and figure out whether it's worth bringing it up that I work at a bar while he has an actual career and obviously has found enough money to travel enough so that he even has frequent flier miles to begin with.
I don't want the plane tickets to be a source of contention but surely he must realize that, at six years his junior and quitting my job and moving out of my flat to come see him, I'm in a bit of money trouble..?
Meh. Like I said, couple of days to think and look at flights. I don't want to turn it into an argument, but, as far as I'm concerned, that was just a message with bad and worse news.
