Long Time
Yeeeah, so I've been away for a while. As you may have noticed. Or not. Anyway, shit happened as per usual and this is my excuse for largely ignoring this space. it's been, what, two months now I believe and that's a lot of little ups and downs to fill in so I'm just not going to bother and skip to the big stuff. The little stuff is boring anyway.
So basically... When I got roped into doing that circus gig back in August an old circus friend and I decided to put on a wicked circus pantomime ourselves and it seemed like a great idea at the time, and still does, except that now I'm a producer, director, script-writer, publicist and performer I'm just a little overwhelmed. This brings me to thingummy #2 which is that I've been fired from the fantasy/wicca store for not Emoting the Dragonspace 'Tude and I would be a lot more upset about it if I wasn't breathing such a deep sigh of relief at having a moment or two to myself. With all that I saved this summer, it'll only take a bit of belt tightening to get me through the winter and the run of the show. Also - Do I really want to be emoting dragons? How exactly do you embody the atmosphere of a dragon anyway?
However, the horrible irony of being laid-off just now is that I just bought floor seats at the Rolling Stones concert. I regret nothing! It only cost me my first born child anyway so that won't be affected by my lack of monetary payment.
And the latest thing that's happened to me that's exciting is that I'm going to be going back to the Canary Islands for another sailing trip in Fabruary and with a better planned trip to Europe for the months after that.
So that brings me up to now, which is a lot more boring than the past or the potential future. I'm basically just sitting here and being too lazy/broke to go out and do anything. Ah well, something'll come up. It always does whether I like it or not.
