SOLD
My house has been sold! The deal is done and we're getting the boot come January 31st!
Yuuusssss. Finally, after 19 years in the suburbs, we're finally going to be moving into the city proper - and not only that but my parents have decided on somewhere close to the drive. mwaha! I'll be within Zone 1, and walking distance from the skytrian, not to mention The Cultch and... and... Everything! I win! We'll be getting rid of most of the junk that we've acumulated and I'll never have to ride the fucking 137 bus again.
Of course boo, cause I'll be moving out of the great big house that I've grown up in, but I think the pros far out-weigh the cons.
Also(in case anyone cares), The buyer is not going to knock the house down - which we thought was the only way we could get it to sell - but plans to do a fixer-upper job on it, which makes me happy cause I thought my fig tree was going to cut down for sure and I love that thing. Maybe I can go up there in the summer and steal figs from him :)
