Yay for good times!
So I snapped out of my hibernation mode...like 3 days after that last entry, which is definitely a good thing b/c 3 days is a short time for me to shut myself out. Been doing a lot of thinking and research lately. Trying to put together these puzzle pieces in my life and work on making a whole picture for my future. Considering getting a degree in Physical Therapy. The books I'm reading from the library are interesting so far and it seems like something I'd enjoy. Of course its demanding, but if I put my mind to it, I'll be able to succeed. Nothing is set in stone yet, but I'm running out of time to figure things out and I'm falling behind.
This past weekend was great! Friday nite, my mom, Alex and I went to Daytona and watched the Winn-Dixie 250 race. This will sound awful, but there were 3 crashes and it was cool. Its all good though b/c none of the drivers were hurt.. only the cars were messed up, which sucks. Saturday afternoon, Nick wanted to take me to Cocoa so I could go somewhere peaceful, relax and clear my mind of everything. We were on our way to spend the day at the beach but ended up sitting in traffic for 2 hours. Apparently the shuttle was gonna launch and everyone in the state of FL was going to watch! [found out later it got scrubbed.. sucks for those people.]
We gave up on the beach idea and drove to Debary instead, making a surprise visit to see his family at their new house. I love love love their new place. Just like the ones you see in magazines. Mrs D gave me the tour of the house, then Nick and I chilled in the hot tub, his mom and dad cooked dinner for us which was yummy. Dana came home from work so she and I chilled in the hot tub while Nick played guitar for us. Later in the evening, he and I got ready and headed back to Orlando for Nathalie's 21st bday party! It was so much fun. Nick and I made an excellent team for beer pong.. we were both on a roll and won all 3 games we played. I played one more after that with Megan against Carlos and that final game did it for me.
Nick definitely took good care of me that nite b/c I certainly couldn't do it. Don't remember what time we left the party or the drive to Robbie's house, but we spent the nite there. While I was falling in and out of sleep, he and the boys stayed up all nite til they finally decided to call it quits at 5am. He crawled into bed next to me, we woke up around 1:15pm with pretty bad hangovers and drove back home. Spent the rest of the day recovering and feeling crappy, but it was worth it and I had a fun time. :) Today I had work from 9-6 which was ugh. Thank God 2mrw is the 4th of July.. no work hooray. Anyway, I'm halfway done with reading The Devil Wears Prada. Wanna try to read the rest tonite so I can hopefully see the movie 2mrw. Peace out homies!
