Happy 21st Birthday to me!!
Yaaaay, I'm finally 21!!!!! As Dana told me, "Noël, you're legal now...I mean legally legal!" lol
Lets see.. Monday morning, I went to my 9am appointment at a photography studio to have some head shots taken for modeling. A friend of ours is already in the business and her kids are doing commercials and auditions for various things. She told me that her agent is looking for someone with an ethnic background. This to me seemed like a perfect opportunity to see what happens. The worst they can say is no. If something comes up, that'd be great and really exciting. The photographer, JR, said he'll have my cd ready with the pics in about 2 weeks, then I can pick it up. Can't wait to see the results!
Also took my Spanish exam yesterday, then Heather and I worked on our Speech project. In the evening, Antonino picked me up around 11:45 and we went to Matt's house. Waited for Matt's sister to get there, then the 4 of us went to the Ale House to celebrate both me and Matt's 21st bday. Antonino bought us drinks and we had a mini party which was fun.. couldn't have too much fun though b/c we all had to be at school around 7am, which kinda sucked. We wanna have a real party this weekend once exams are OVER!!!
Left around 1:30, got home at 2, I continued to work on my speech project and finally went to bed at 3am. Got up at 6 to be in class at 7, found out our presentation for speech wasn't due til Thurs. I was soooo pissed b/c we were up all nite for nothing, but at least we're ready for it. Took my rockology exam at 10am (thank God that class is FINALLY DONE!!), ate lunch with Dustin, Andrea and Andrea at Chipotle, picked up Alex, took a nap for almost an hour, went to work from 4-8. Dana threw me a surprise party at camp today which was fun! She got a me balloon, cake and had everyone sign a card. Thanks Dana, I love you!!
After work, we had a small family bday celebration at home.. with another cake mmm! My main 21st bday gift is the snowboarding trip to Montreal which is ahhh next week woohoo!!! Also got a Canon PowerShot digital camera (7.1 mp), some new sweaters and snowboarding gear. This certainly was far more than I had ever expected to receive and I am so thankful. Now I'm fixing to go to bed, wake up and take my Microcomputers exam in the morning. Good nite!
