i was listening to the latest ep of Takuya Kimura 's What's Up Smap radio program on my way to work today. and he was talking about his new dorama come Spring. The official title is CHANGE and basically the story is that of an elementary school teacher who gets elected into office - the Prime Ministerial office that is. sounds too far fetched? well not really, since TK's character is not just a plain grade school teacher but he is in fact the son of a very prominent politician. How and why he becomes Japan's next PM is what we are going to find out come MAY 12!
and i thought the dorama will be starting this month! well as TK mentioned in last friday's WUS, he only started shooting his first few scenes the saturday before that. It was so cute when he made mention of the kids who were playing his students in the story. They gave him a card telling him how they only saw him as TAKUYA KIMURA the first day they've met him but soon after they all started calling him "sensei" and TK goes on to tell that they have a new nick for him and that's "MOJA". if anyone knows what this means do enlighten me! *lol*
by the way, Madonna will be singing the theme for the dorama. hmmm i am still apprehensive about this. i mean i've heard bits and pieces of the song and i still don't think it suits the story. but then again, who knows once the drama starts... anyway, TK goes on to say that the dorama has a lot of surprises and i have no doubt that it does.
i for one am looking forward to seeing him play a teacher and watch his rapport with the kids ( in fact TK is all praises for the kid actors). too bad he can't have his wish of teaching highschool girls instead! *LOL*
