it's been a summer

Sadly the end of summer has arrived. I can't say it was a very good summer- I worked too much for it to really feel summery or relaxing. But these past three weeks or so have been pretty damn good, since I've had my license. Like every night the past week and a half I've gone to some different person's house, except when I was on call and couldn't leave my house- then they came to me haha. So things have been delightful on that front. No major freak outs, and the one time I did go nuts Hugh reigned me in, by making me take him for ice cream? ...What? :o) But anyway, I love my friends. Like tonight was the perfect summer night: a bunch of us went to Linsey's for this neighborhood bbq she was having, and there were like 20 little kids running around. So it involved playing with little children, hoola hoops, ping pong, star gazing, doing the cotton eyed joe, guitar and bass, dirty jokes, bbq, back massages, and blasting music on the lawn and singing along. It just felt like the perfect way to end summer. I only wish my other summer nights were as good. There better be a lot more of that to come senior year... all in all I'm rather looking forward to it. I don't think I'll have as much work as last year, and damn, we better have a good time. I'm not even fearing going back to school, since it'll be less hours a day than work. The only thing bugging me is my summer assignments. Like my 20 page research paper. Despite spending... 262.5 hours (yes, I did just calculate that) in the lab this summer, I don't have anything to write my paper on, because a grad student quit last week and they gave me her project. Oy. Here's my schedule, let me know if we have any classes together if I haven't already talked to you:

1. AP Spanish- Piquero

2. AP enviro- Patrick

3. Lab/gym

4. Physics- Salvatore Tatto? Italian much?

Quote of the Entry: No, I'm serious, I really don't want to have sex again until I'm married- ::man walks onto yard where we're sitting, smirks, all goes silent::...
