the valentines day massacre :D
here we are, the dawn of the most desbicable day of the year.. febuaray 14th... *retch* and being that it is 1 in the mornin my time I guess I don't know how this day will turn out...
anywho on with the much anticipated ( yeah right) update from me, your good buddy kris... you haven't forgot about me I hope ( we have now get the fuck on with it JACKASS) ...
Well not much has happened since my last update... cept I am not saddened this time YAY!!! I am quite happy and chipper and such... Well for those of you who don't know I got myself a job... I work at a gas station ( YAY ME) hey it aint too bad, it gets me out of the house and I get paid for it... even though for the longest time I had no clue what I was gonna make and when I got paid, but then I figured it out when I got my first pay check, which right now, saddly, is gone... but how it is gone it was well worth it... mind you that the check was only 60 bucks...
I dont know how many of you out there know of a small up and comming band know as Otep... but if you dont know them YOU MUST, the lead vocalist is a chick but look at it this way my friends this is no evanescence here... this is straight up death metal... and I am sorry, but I must admit something to one person out there... otep ( that is the singers name) is FUCKING HOT!!!!! and her voice is increadable, she can go from soft singing to a bone crushing scream that puts corey taylor ( slipknot) to shame and then to a dark and creepy spoken word... god damn they are a great band...
Plus being that the openers weren't bad at all... well the 2nd two fucking rocked!!!! the first one was kinda gay, but the 2nd opener was a band called Candiria and they knew how to rock hardcore, followed by one of my favorite bands, American Head Charge... really good shit, thier show was culminated by the closing song my favorite song by them, a song called Seamless... LISTEN TO IT, IT IS GOOD...
Lastly otep took stage with her political views and songs such as "Warhead", "Self-made" and other tracks that I dont know but the stand out lyric for me is on the final track of thier album "house of secrets" and it goes "I fucked the minds of the mases with the fingers of liberty". I am hoping to get some pictures of the show and post them up here shortly.
Oh I must say thank you to all of you who commented to me on my last post... you guys rock hardcore and I am glad the you are all my friends... wait fuck that shit My Family...
