I haven't done much with my dolls, since I partook of the faceup class during the Volks November Rush Event. It was a pretty amazing and casual event. Since that time, I've moved into a bachelor studio of my own, so most of my dolls are packed away into boxes still. I'm doing my best to focus on the dolls that I have rather than be tempted by new dolls and pretty faces.
Recently I've been working on a template for my photos. I've had photoshop for the past four years, but I have never used it surprisingly. Here is the prototype format for the template of my future photos:
Please give me constructive criticism on it. I opted not to capitalize the letters, since it looked too obtrusive and self-important to me. And I am still experimenting with the border and whether I should have it or not. I decided to make the first line my identity, the second line is the specific story that the photo references, and the third line directs back to my Live Journal. I have no personal website, so I'd like to keep my stories and photos contained on LJ.
I think it is about time I improved the presentation of my photos.
Also, I need recommendations on high-profile faceup artists that are available for commissions. I am currently looking at Rabiruna and Satohko Ohno, although the bidding scandal of the latter artist puts me off considerably. I like her work, but I would never support someone who cheated people out of more money. Do you have an artist to recommend?
