Hm. So, life is a little uneventful lately.
School, work, the usual.
Had a really fun and interesting weekend.
I really can't wait to spend a ton of time with my Kyle this weekend, since he doesn't have to work!
I finished Love in the Time of Cholera today, and I have to say- the end could have been a lot better, Mr. Marquez. I hate it when you get really into a book and then the end just leaves you hanging like that- makes me feel kinda.. unsettled.
I got a 98 on my project.
Tomorrow is our practical exam. The only appliances we are allowed to use are the stove and the fryer. That really narrows it down a lot, in terms of only having one hour to make whatever it is we decide to make. We get a partner, though, which is nice.
Kate and I are making beignets (French-style, filled, square-shaped "doughnuts," basically) with different fillings,- dark chocolate and mint ganache, berries coated with rum and sugar, and espresso-flavored pastry cream.
I made cannoli today. They were exquisite, of course, haha. :)
