New job time & other news.
Dear Everybody.
Exciting and important news time. I have decided to say "Damn the French", and quit my post-doc here. Low-pay, expectations of me actually being in my office (9-5!? Fuck that), and tedious academic politics all annoy me. I now have a research job with a software start-up, starting in Jan. A post-doc position but with a living wage. And with the benefit that there is no office. I can work where I damn well please.
Huzzah!
In other news, we have found a flat. People are welcome to visit, but check before hand, decorating work is still ongoing.
Finally, I shall be in England from the 20th Dec to the 4th Jan. I wish to spend some of my anticipated new riches on beer, please help me with my quest.
