So Ramona got one day of vacation, which she used to hang out with Katou in Prague. Their day mostly involved stupid antics, such getting certification as a Tank Commander (which you can totally
do) by driving a battle tank, going to some of the famous historical beer halls (getting a little drunk), and generally dicking around (really drunk).
Ramona also spent time alone while Katou explored the historical red light district and got laid. She sent Scott a (sobering up) Dear John-ish e-mail, kind of expecting him to not remember anything, explaining how she's in a different place and putting the relationship on the shelf due to...everything, plus a vague warning about watching out for himself just in case. Because she doesn't want to be an asshole. She then sent another, more comprehensive e-mail to Wallace, because the odds of Scott deleting anything were very high.
Finishing out the night, she caught a Dali show, ate some wonky hole in the wall food, gave Katou a subspace wallet for Christmas, then told him never to mention his adventures in the red light district to her. It was awesome and all she wanted to do was run away so it could continue.
When she arrived in camp, she was early volume 5, which meant shoulder length hair (very long by her standards) that was kind of wavy and sometimes done up. Generally like this:
As of her return from vacation she's going to be on volume 6 hair, which is shorter, more wavy, and more likely to sport black streaks. Generally like the center figure in this picture and the icon I'm using:
That picture also points out that, to Ramona, appearance is a really huge symbolic thing! She is obsessed with changing herself when things get rough, so this is reflective of her trying to move away from how she was when she came into camp. This doesn't mean she's going to be hugely different personality-wise, but probably less...burdened and more "let us do new things this year." Also it means when moving to Dreamwidth I'm going to be lazy and still use the amazing icons Zuko made for me from volume 4, but maybe also adding in movie ones since they 1. look closer to the volume 6 hair, 2. represent her dye jobs more than the black and white ones do, and 3. have amazing expressions anyway.
