home sweet home---sorta
the past 24 hours have taken such a toll on me. I'm not in the best of moods and I feel so alone right now....well I am alone ...could be why.
So what's been up since my last post.... well Saturday night I had to work 7-10 p.m. at the radio station. Keat came by to play his selection of music and we called it "electroglitz" night. I had to rush off after to pick Amir up and head to Jackie's Xmas party in Subang after. Amir got into a fender bender so I had to wait for him at this one mamak shop. Here's a little story. In PJ there are to banana leaf shops to eat and they both have the same name: SRI PAANDI..and they are RIGHT NEXT TO EACHOTHER and they are fiercely competing with eachother. I ordered a drink at one of the SRI PAANDI (the one with less people) and the owner came by to talk to me. He started bad mouthing their competitors and told me that they want to sue the other Sri Paandi for stealing their name. So here's the deal. The Sri Paandi I was at got their name first (but had opened shop at another location) but they only opened another shop in the area AFTER the other Sri Paandi had opened shop... It's really quite stupid. Even the sign for the shops look identical... So anyway, after the longest 10 minutes of my life, Amir gets back from the police station and we drive to Jackie's in time to get what's left of the food and catch up on the booze. I get back to my sister's place at around 2 a.m.ish and the next morning we had to head over to my parents for Sunday brunch. My mom made turkey and I remember watching a Seinfeld episode about how turkey makes you sleepy... well my aunt fell asleep at the dinner table.. I was extremely tired after... and anyway, to make a long story short - I'm back at my own home now with a mud mask on my face.
I might do some cooking now. Maybe watch some telly....
