Huh. This is certainly an odd place…

[Walking around the city, not so much bothered as he is curious to his new surroundings, is a tall and rather oddly garbed man. He seems especially amused by the giant carousel. Now that’s something he hasn't seen before.]

Dream, I wonder, or something else entirely.  Hourai?

This is more than an odd place and it's not Japan or China, Ever-King.

Where are you? This place can be dangerous. It's another world, one that connects to many, I swear it's like we're in a mysterious City deep in the Sea of Emptiness.

[He recognizes the voice, and looks around for Youko somewhere nearby.]

[He pauses after a few moments of searching. With that unusual hair color of hers, she should be fairly easy to spot, but he's not seeing her anywhere. But she has to be somewhere nearby--]

[After hearing the Youko's voice a second time, he finally locates where her voice is coming from and pulls out the odd device from one of his pocket, he stares at it for a few moments before shaking his head with a small inaudible chuckle. He's definitely not in the Twelve Kingdoms anymore, but no matter.]

[He laughs.] I'm at the center of the city by this... attraction of some kind, or so I assume. It has statues of horses. I unfortunately have no name for it.

[Right. Youko recalls that Shouryuu is a Taika but from 500 years in the past without concept of computers and such.]

Hey. You're probably wondering where my voice comes from. I'm so stupid, I forgot you're not aware of this technology. This is a gizmo like the "telephone" they ask Taika about in En, but works different to them.

"Interesting", huh? You missed out a lot of interesting stuff last week. The more interesting part comes we cannot leave by choice, but when we do we're returned exactly at the same time we're taken from.

[She pauses, handing this information in case he worries about En. He's a ruler, after all. Despite of his quirks, he would be worried about his people as she is.]

Since I'm here, I've left three times already.

That's a, uh, the Carousel. It's not far from where we're staying.

Should I come to escort you to our current home? Or would you prefer the En Taiho to be your guide, En-Ou?
