congraturations to federer! he's now equaled the record of bjorn borg. amazing! nada almost had it, too. but federer persevered. in the end, he wanted it more than nadal. although, luck played a big part, too, as federer himself pointed out. so for now, nadal and his manpris will have to settle for a runner-up position. what a reversal of fortune for nadal and federer after last months roland garros tournament.
and poor henin! it was unbearable to watch her loose to bartoli. this could've been her year to win that much coveted wimbledon championship--the only grandslam tournament that has eluded her. but kudos to venus williams for winning it despite being the lowest seed in the tournament. lucky for her, pierce brosnan wasn't watching. hehe!
