I know it's cool to love on the Chinese, and I know people seem to feel it necessary to weeaboo about how they were better than Rome and blah blah blah. BUT...

PS Claiming that it took the west 1000 years to catch up to the Chinese by contrasting the 10th century paper machine gunpowder mines of China to the Russian Empire's Crimean War electrical wire mines is a bit of a stretch, don't you think?
