Last night I saw a film. As I recall it was not a horror film...
In any event, The Watchmen was a good and faithful adaptation of the graphic novels, and was also a pretty good movie all around. Not perfect, but it fit, the director "got it" and the acting was amazing.
I was invited to a midnight showing of it by my friend Ben to celebrate 21 years of knowing each other, which is just amazing for me...and while we haven't been around together much the last year, it's like nothing has changed.
I'm saddened that Julie and Ehjay didn't make it, but I figured there would be much tiredness all around.
Tonight I will be extremely drunk, I imagine, as I've been asked to enjoy a few seprate pints of cider and bottles of wine with a few extremely good friends of mine.
