The Renaissance--Updated
My friends and I made our annual trek to the local Renaissance Festival yesterday. It is such a fun time for people to really go all out, playing dress-up. It's one big costume party!
A guy dressed as a Catholic Cardinal had the hots for my friend the Chemist, and I just love all the bodices (or, should I say, what they emphasize).
Slashmuse bought a cool belly-dancing jingle-jangle thing (sorry, I'm not up on such terms). I was able to re-purchase a plaque for my wife loverocats--last year I dropped it and it smashed :(.
Next week it's the Greek Festival, then on to the Highland games. Huzzah/opa/whatever Scottish people say!
