O hai.
Life is kinda OMGBUSY these days, mostly in a good way. Realized I have not posted in way too long. Oops. Seriously, though. Had someone told me even at the beginning of July that I'd meet someone who actually supports, cherishes, and loves me (and my artistic endeavours and my cats and etc) and that I'd already be engaged and planning a wedding, I would've punched them in the fucking face. And would have to be apologizing for the punching now, because apparently Really Good Things do happen to me!
(I am so in love with Greg, and it just keeps getting better and better. No, seriously. This is pretty much the first time there's been no drama and no stress this far along into the relationship.)
So Greg and I found a great two-bedroom condo downtown with an amazing view of the CN Tower... and we move this Sunday! If any of y'all are free to help, that would be super-awesome. I set up an event on Facebook, but am also happy to provide addressy details via text/email if anyone does not have my current address and is free to help.
I've promised myself that I can't do any more wedding planning until after the move and my show* are done, which is kind of killing me... but I need to get through all this first. And now that I am officially done shooting Windchocombe with
catseatdogs, it's time for me to get my arse back to the gym. Especially since I'll soon be on stage in a fur bikini*. :P
I also did a
fun photoshoot with
dj_axle recently... though now instead of being a blondie bear, I am back to my awesome screamy red. Greg and I were Mulder and Scully for Halloween:
Lastly, in acting news, I've had TWO films come out this month: Stiffs on the Green (of which I have a copy for
willow_kat) and Black Eve. In the latter, my stabby-death got some darn good applause. Both screenings went really well, and the latter absolutely packed the Toronto Underground Cinema! But most importantly... I'm gonna plug the play I'm in!
The show is called "The Other Side of the Rhyme" (some of you may have seen it last year in Waterloo). We're up November 17th - 19th at the Russian Canadian Theatre Centre (48 Alness Rd) here in Toronto. Tickets are just $10 in person from any cast or crew member, $12 at the door, or you can buy in advance online:
here. There's plenty of parking at the theatre for those who drive, and it's pretty accessible from the highway. Those of you who are FASSies... Chuck McPhail is directing, and Eric Logan is SMing. Plus Kelly Taylor is a fellow actor, along with a talented and awesome cast. So come out and see it, coz it would make me super-happy!
