Was stuck here with Xander and Anya. Wasn't something that I would call especially confortable, especially considering the fact that in a moment of drunken weakness, Anya and I had committed to something that was spawned by me being shunned by the slaya, and her being stood up at the alter by monkey boy, when we had shagged...when I had shagged her

I looked at Spike. There was something different. I knew it, as soon as I saw him. This can't be right. He couldn't have. Spike was acting angry. There were tears in his eyes. The last time I saw him cry was when Buffy died, saving Dawn ( ... )

Okay, since the two of them had sex, I could barely deal without the thought of staking him, and the last thing that I needed from her was a big dose of the cryptic.
"How did you get it?"
I looked him over, trying to figure out what she was talking about when she talked about him getting something. He looked to me like the same pain in the ass, murderous, peroxided pest who had tried to rape my best friend.
"Spike this is fantastic. You came back to tell Buffy. I could imagine what she has to say about that."
"Okay, he has something and the fact that you know it, Ahn, seems to be pissing him off. Since we seem not to be talking about Giles and this latest spell, why don't those in the room who know what Anya is talking about fill in the only human left in the room?"
I didn't have the time or the energy for these games. Faith and Wesley were back and were all accusatory with the tone, sure that Giles was evil, and I wasn't exactly disagreeing with them. Buffy was gone, helping Angel of course, ( ... )

I wanted to strangle her, but as long as Buffy wasn't here, I was okay with her knowing. Of course she knew. Coming back after monkey boy had stood her up at the wedding with a lot of demon in her, again, she could sense these kinds of things, but I had forgotten about that. Now, they would tell Buffy and I wanted to be the one to tell her when I was ready, considering what I had done to her before I left...or what I supposedly tried to do to her.
"How did you get it?"
"Got it in a box of lucky charms. Those little leprechauns have quite the sense of humor let me tell you."
She wasn't buying it. Xander, as always, was clueless.

Wouldn't make a difference, anyway. Best of my recollection, he didn't ( ... )

I ignored what Xander said. Sure, he was going to be mad, but I had to know where Spike got his soul. It was a complete shock to me. That he would do this. That he would for Buffy. At least that's what it seemed like.
"Got it in a box of lucky charms. Those little leprechauns have quite the sense of humor let me tell you."
Spike thought he was funny. I, for one, didn't think he was funny. "Yeah, sure. That's why you were gone so long. What did you have to do to get it?" My eyes perked with interest. Xander began to huff and puff. I looked over at him, and he looked really annoyed.
"Ex-fiancee is talking about me getting my rocks back, monkey boy. Yeah, went away, met a nice girl and now we have a relationship that tops all relationships. She's quite the little dominatrix. Really a hoot. You should meet her."
I crossed my arms over my chest. "Rocks back? Spike, you hardly have any rocks if you're keeping this a secret." He looked at me. If looks could kill, I might ( ... )
