At first, I thought Angel felt guilty for having sex with me. We discovered that he didn't turn to Angelus the first time, so we decided to have sex a second time. He's still brooding. He thinks Angelus is going to pop up. Me? I don't think he will. Angel told me he felt perfect happiness. I believe him. I saw it in his eyes. Marzanilla

Just what I wanted to hear. Hundreds of them. Great. This is not what I had in mind. A couple of demons, I could deal with. Hundreds? I'm not so sure. My power is limited in certain areas. I can fight, use a sword, the whole works, but my main power drains me. This could be a big disadvantage. If I had to fight a lot of demons tonight, I had to be sure to save my power for something bigger.
"They have to have Connor down there..."
Angel could be right. Apparently, they knew who Angel was. It was pretty weird. They were talking about Connor, too. Of course, when it came to actually talking to us, we got nothing out of them.
He pulled me deeper into the cave, never letting my hand go. This place was beyond creepy. No noise. Just the torches, burning, on the wall. It was nothing like the cave we were in, earlier. A lot less inviting. To be honest, we were in a cave all day, and now we're back in another cave. Why couldn't they have outside hiding places?
"Can you sense Connor in here? I don't know if this is the smartest plan. Maybe, we should find Buffy and the gang, then come back in here." Angel looked at me with a small glare. He wasn't going to wait around for anyone. He wasn't going to find anyone. All he wanted was his son. I could question his plans all I want, but he wasn't going to change it. We've come this far, so there's no point in turning back.
"Sorry." I looked at him with my version of puppy dog eyes. Hey, he doesn't to me. "I know you want to find Connor. I do too. It's just, two against hundreds could be tricky, you know? And, I can't use a lot of my power. You know I'll drain all of my energy. That's the last thing I want to happen, down here. I'll be useless to you, if that happens." It's not like I could take a breather if we were in the middle of some huge fight with these demons.
We got to a bridge and stopped. We looked down and saw demon goo everywhere. It didn't mean there were no more demons around. I'm sure there's more. "Well, looks like someone's beat us to the punch, huh?" Demons were slaughtered in here. "You think Connor had anything to do with this?" Angel kept his eyes below and then looked at me. I caressed his face. "It's alright. We'll find him. His scent is here so that's good." I managed to give him a small smile.

I couldn't believe this. Since when would Cordy ask me to go back and get Buffy for help? This is my son we are talking about!
"He's been here and probably still is. I can sense him easily, and he was scared. We have to go in there and we have to go now."
"I know you want to find Connor. I do too. It's just, two against hundreds could be tricky, you know? And, I can't use a lot of my power. You know I'll drain all of my energy. That's the last thing I want to happen, down here. I'll be useless to you, if that happens."
I was getting angry. Sure, in our relationship, we had experienced a breakthrough, but now we were looking for Connor and the puppy dog eyes weren't going to work.
I walked forward and onto a bridge where a lot of violence had taken place. I was sure that Connor had been here and now that he wasn't, I didn't know how to feel. Connor could have done this, but there was gun residue in the air and the walls were torn up in many places.
"There's been shooting in here, which means Finn was in here, which means that they were all in here." My spirits lifted, even though we really didn't have a ride home at the moment. Buffy, Gunn, Fred and Finn were here, there was demon carnage and they were gone now. They had to have Connor with them.
"They probably have Connor with them and left when they heard the explosion."
I didn't hear it until at the last moment, footsteps everywhere and before a minute was up, we were surrounded by demons.
Fear wasn't an instinct that I would ever possess and I would kill every one of these sons of bitches if they had done anything to Connor. "Scary cave you have here, especially with all of the ooze of your dead brethren. You're all going to join them if I don't hear the right things about my son in the next few seconds...now where is he?"

Connor was scared? He's never scared of anything. This wasn't good. "Scared? Why would Connor be scared?" Angel looked at me. I was deeply concerned. "You don't think something happened to him do you?"
Angel was getting mad. I told him we should come back with Buffy and the gang. He wanted to do this alone. No one else. He didn't think there was much time. The glare he gave me was loud and clear. He walked to the middle of the bridge. I followed.
"There's been shooting in here, which means Finn was in here, which means that they were all in here."
"Well, that's good. At least we all know they were all in here. The question is...are they all still in here?"
"They probably have Connor with them and left when they heard the explosion."
That answered my question. If they weren't in here, then we should leave. I wasn't going to say anything to Angel. He was already in a mood and I didn't feel like arguing. Besides, we're not positive Connor is with Buffy. "I'm sure they have Connor. It looks like they did some damage in here. They all killed a lot of demons." I stopped when I saw Angel's face. He was looking around. He heard something. "What?"
I looked behind Angel. "Um, Angel. There's uh, demons behind you." He looked over my shoulder. "Let me guess, they're behind me too." I turned my head and saw the demons behind me. "Great. This is just lovely."
"Scary cave you have here, especially with all of the ooze of your dead brethren. You're all going to join them if I don't hear the right things about my son in the next few seconds...now where is he?"
These guys weren't talking. I know they can talk, they just weren't choosing to talk. "It looks like they're not going to talk, Angel. Maybe, if we kick their ass first, and ask questions later, they'll talk. How does that sound huh?" I yelled making sure every word I said was emphasized for the demons to hear.
I heard growls from behind me. I was scared, but another side of me wasn't scared. The power I have was an advantage and I knew if it got out of control I could handle the situation and destroy everything around us. Me and Angel could get out of this. "What will it be? If you thought our friends killed a lot of your kind, wait until you see what we can do." I crossed my arms over my chest waiting for their move. Angel looked at me. I don't know if he liked what I said to the demons, or if he thought I was absolutely out of my mind. Me, personally, I'm thinking I'm absolutely out of my mind.

They gathered around us and not for a second did I consider that there was a possibility that we were in danger. These idiots had my son, and they were going to give him up, or die very painfully.
They even laughed at Cordy when she said that we should just kick their asses. I moved closer to Cordy and whispered in her ear, rage teething, raging in me. "Don't glow until we have one of them. Stay close to me and use your defenses that we trained on. The rest, I'll take care of."
I didn't mean to talk down to her, but I was going to wreck every single on of these demons and do it in a way that was violent, bloody and crushing. I could still feel Cordy's touch when I launched into a repartee of punches and kicks. I broke two necks in less then a second, turning to watch Cordy handle on of them with kicks to the groin area, if they even had groins, and then to the face. One tried to attack her and she surprised it with a punch to the face and from behind me, I felt an arm missing my head, ducked and kicked it in the knee, and then broke it's neck. They didn't seem to die and still moved with their necks broken, and they reverted to human form when hurt. From out of my pocket, I pulled out a stake and to give myself time, windmill kicked a couple of these demons near Cordy and then around the bodies, constantly in motion. I then staked the three that I had put down, and started staking everything near me, right through the heart.
Cordy was pounding on a demon, and another was coming up behind her. "CORDY, turn, and glow!"
She did, and I staked the demon that she was beating on. "Time to find out what this idiot demon knows about Connor, since he is so calm now.
"The boy is gone, Angel. He's been taken away and you won't find him on this island. You'll never see him again. He's in the hands of those that you can't touch."
I grabbed him by the collar and screamed at him to tell me where my son was, but he only laughed. I punched him repeatedly, as Cordy's glow stopped. The demon repeated that Connor wasn't here and I didn't know whether or not to believe him as I looked at Cordy, who was so spectacular and would have had me kissing her if I wasn't worried about Connor.

Did Angel just order me to do something? Does he not know he's talking to a former Higher Being? I gave Angel a little smirk. He was trying to keep me safe by being overly protective. At least, I was fighting. I should be glad he let me fight. "Gotcha."
Angel went all out and lunged at the demons. Punches landed on their faces. A demon came toward me and I kicked it in the groin. Then, I kicked my leg up and kicked it in the face. The adrenaline was going through me. It was scary and exciting. Angel broke necks and kept punching, but they weren't dying. I could have sworn I told him that we had to stake them. Maybe, he was getting a kick out of kicking their asses.
I fought off demons, but Angel made sure to fight off the demons that were surrounding me. I had the other demon by the neck and I kept punching him in the face. I went to get a stake out of my jacket pocket, and Angel yelled.
"CORDY, turn, and glow!"
He didn't need to tell me twice. I turned and glowed, killing all the demons surrounding us, except for the one that Angel had by the neck. I bent down to breathe. I had to find away to keep my full strength after I glow.
"Time to find out what this idiot demon knows about Connor, since he is so calm now.
"The boy is gone, Angel. He's been taken away and you won't find him on this island. You'll never see him again. He's in the hands of those that you can't touch."
I looked up and walked over to Angel. "Those that we can't touch? What is he talking about, Angel? Who has him?" The demon said he wasn't on this island, anymore. How could that be? He wasn't making any sense. The puzzle pieces were definitely not being put in the right spot.
We had to get Connor back. First, we had to find out who has him. Hopefully, he was still in this dimension. "You know what? We should definitely keep this guy with us. He knows more than we do, soooooo why not kidnap him for info?" Angel gave me a look. "He's the only person who can lead us to Connor." I thought it would be a good idea. The only person to make the ultimate decision would be Angel.
