I was stupid, but I was brave...
I went to my first educational conference today. It was very...educational. Actually, I did learn a lot, and I'm anxious to try things with my students throughout the remainder of the year.
Nothing much else is new. I've still been plugging away at the guitar though not as much, and I've been getting the urge to draw and participate in the visual arts lately, so that's nice. I've missed that. Last weekend when I wasn't feeling so nice, I finally began reading David Sedaris' newest book that I bought the week it debuted (Aug. or Sept). I've been keeping books on the piano to play from, and in general I'm trying to keep the me inside alive so that all of my oomph doesn't feel like it's going to rubbish along with the topsy turvy world of education.
Let's see...what else...Oh! Last night, I bought two songs from The Boy Least Likely To's newest album and Bishop Allen's newest album. Good music.
OH! The sex trees are in bloom again. I caught a whiff of their pungent scent as I was walking through the pharmacy's parking lot yesterday. A whole row of them just filling the atmosphere with SEX. How vulgar!
