i used brandons fake employee's discount card at cold stone tonight. he would have used it himself but he asked to sample an ice cream, which a real coldstone employee would never do. we get up to the register and i tell the girl i work at the melville store. she takes it, looks at it, hands it back, then asks me "do you know how to put this in the register?" hmmm, well being that i dont work at a cold stone i had no idea. and even if i did i wasnt gonna come behind the counter to show her. "well, actually i've never had to do it so i dont know," i tell her. clever right? this shouldnt be too hard, she took the card and thats all that matters. she can figure it out. so then the ditz, i mean fine young lady next to her comes over and decides to just round the discout off or somethng cuz neither of them could figure out the register. she subtracts 3 bucks off the total, which is fine cuz i just want to pay (but only for 85% of it) and leave. then she looks at me and says "how come we never got these? do you know someone special!"
know someone special? shit! like the founder of cold stone or something? she said it so excited like i really had a connection; i've never even been in a cold stone before. not once. two seconds ago i was asking her if the cup she gave me was the smallest size, cuz i had no idea, and now all of a sudden im employee of the month! does that make sense? ughhhh, no. damn. so i told her to ask her manager cuz thats where i got mine from, thinking that she'd wait till she was off or something before she asks. wrong. she runs right over to the manager who's standing right there and starts asking why they never got a discount card. the manager looked really confused...so we bounced.
melville, is there even a cold stone there? must be cuz i work there...i've never even been anywhere in melville!!!(or in cold stone, did i mention i've never been to cold stone before) i guess i cant really show up at the stony brook cold stone for a little while. i'm like a fugitive, all because me and 3 friends saved 3 dollars on way over priced ice cream. im really am a bad ass now...
