You know what I'm tired of?
This stupid little trend floating around college students, and even some younger folk... obsessing over NES games, and the like.
What the fuck? I like NES games, too, but it's not the fucking holy grail of gaming. NOTHING game-wise approaches anything this generation till you at least hit the SNES or Genesis. That's when games went from repeative little games (Which are now pretty much achin to MINI-Games in these games) and into full blown epics, and involving games.
I'm not dissing them .. okay, maybe I am.
But still..
Advancement is neat.
and I think a ton of people are just not liking new things because 1) they want to seem "outside" and "cool" and "different" (Because, you know, being "different" is the new "thing")
2) they just can't handle doing a lot of stuff. (Even though you could probably find a better version of an old school-type game made these days, or a little later).
Again, I digress.
Showing love for only old games? Stupid.
The only thing stupider is people who like movies from the 40's, 50's, and 60's.
